A high-energy blogger, knitter, reader (and sometimes writer) who does mainly knitting, who loves knitting LACE. I love making lace shawls as well as comfy prayer shawls. I'm even more crazy about SPINNING. My favorite wheel is the old 1970's Ashford Traddy that once belonged to my Grammy. Now I've even stepped onto the Weaving path. Huh? Yeah. Just a bit. Onto the Rigid Heddle Weaving path with my Kromski Harp.
This one took more than blocking - it involved sewing the sides in more so that they would have a better shape. And then I also put a button on the outside and used an icord loop to secure it.
Referring to their 4th book - Trinny and Susannah take on America. I've read the other 3 from the library over time and those combined with 40 over 40 have made a big difference in my wardrobe. But that's about as fashion forward as I get.

Let's see, that tan goes with those pants, the brown with this sweater, the red with this sweater, and the lilac makes a nice colour change.
Very nice. Trinny and Susannah say in the last book that you should have a wide variety of handbags.
Tell me more about the Trinny and Susannah book - which book is it?
This purse has a lilac cloth lining inside, thanks to the sewing magic of my Grandmother. Thanks Grammy!
Blocking ALWAYS helps!!!!! :-) Looks very nice.
It's lovely! I like the before picture, too, so what do I know? :)
